I just experienced a new fault with my 2007 ZX6R, when Im on full throttle after it exceeds 8000rpm - 10000rpm i feel like the engine is loosing power,
The recall is for the valve cover gasket, not the head gasket. If you are losing compression through your valve cover gasket you've got much bigger problems.
Wait... Thread title says cut off after 8000rpm. But Torino asked you if it picks back up after 10,000rpm and you said exactly. I'm confused. How are you getting past 10,000rpm if its loosing power?
I agree with your remark, I might not have given the right discription of the fault.
But yes it only losses power between 8k to 10k and then picks up.
