Plastidip... anyone heard of it?

Has anyone heard of Plastidip? One of my buddies showed it to me the other day on dipyourcar.com and was talking to me about doing his GTi with it. I looked at the gallery on the site and it looks good and it even peels right off when ever you want to take it off but yet its resistant to the weather and what not. Its not too expensive either, like 7 bucks a can and it comes in whitee black or red. matte i believe but then you can get a can of glossifier for like 5 bucks to give it a gloss coating. Its really got me thinking of painting the fairings and tank in white... what do you all think?

yeah that stuff is kool i used it on some tools that needed a grip at the end. you can even get it in 1gal and 5gal cans at wholesale construction stores for big time use. With the smaller cans they give you a lid so you can reuse it but that donesnt work so have enough stuff lined up to use the whole can.

bet it would be pretty kool as grips if you get the nonskid stuff not the slick plastic

I discovered plastidip last summer and started a craze on another board I visit where at least 50 - 60 people have dipped various car parts and bike parts or whole cars.

I did the wheels and grille on my Trailblazer last june and they still look good today even after some mild off-roading.

Also did the wheels on my 318.

I'm kind of tossing around the idea of doing the lower half of my fairing but not sure how it will look with the aluminum frame.

Its a very unique product. Its been around for a few years in the car scene.

Ive seen some people do really neat sh*t with the stuff.

I should try this stuff on my lower fairings. My rear brake mc seal leaked on the fairing and my paint got all messed up.
