Track fairings

Hi everyone I picked up a 2005 C1H track bike yesterday but the rear tail section has been fitted over the original seat and it just doesn't look right I am not sure it is the right tail part?

Many thanks

It looks like it’s a “superbike” tail section, which is all one piece and it replaces the Oem seat. It probably is made for the 05-06, and I doubt your Oem seat is underneath it.

Can you verify with the previous owner before you start tearing things apart? It looks like an aftermarket super bike seat, like previously mentioned.

Not sure why they would do that. I guess ride it as is for now and see how it feels, but you will eventually need to remove the tail and seat to see what’s going on. As well as needing to access the battery or any other electronics.
