Zx6r 2003/4 rear shock options

What other year Zx6r shocks fit the 2003-2004 b1h? Looking to upgrade my current standard shock. Also if an alternative year fits are there any mods required?

If i recall correctly an 09–12 shocks fits with no work?? What about 2013-2016?

Apologies if this is already well covered

Don't waste your time with a stock shock. Get a real shock, Ohlins, Penske, Elka etc. Stock is shit.

I was struggling to find 2nd hand 2003 aftermarket shock but noticed that they are plentiful on some of the new bikes, this was why i asked

considering at 2013 ohlins zx6r shock that i have been offered, just need to know if it would fit?

09-12 you would need the linkage knuckle as well- different widths at the shock mount

no idea on the 13+

woohoo we are having fun now
Stupid people say stupid things on the internet, so be wary of who those people are. If you solicit advice on the internet, just keep in mind 99% of what you'll receive is not based on fact or science-and likely atleast 95% of it is based on bullshit and bravado regurgitated from some other schlub who also did not experience any of what they claim and are also full of shit. If you don't like my bluntness- too bad. I am not here to please you, so move along, your approval is not desired nor is it needed. So before opening your pie hole and adding more stupidity, perhaps sit back, listen, absorb and learn something. You know that saying, it is better to remain silent and thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt!
