Hey guys, I need to remove my ECU and just have a few (possibly silly) questions. Don't like normally messing with anything electrical especially computers.

Should I disconnect the battery first? Do I need to disconnect it at all in this case?

The three connectors above the ECU, should I not disconnect them at all. Just heard somewhere not to touch them. Wondering if disconnecting them will make it easier to remove the ECU?

Thank you as always guys!

I would disconnect the battery. Just a good precaution and you're already at a point where it is accessible.

The plugs above the ECU connect to relays. Very simple devices. No harm removing the harness from them. Just make sure that you have the right plug into the right place when you hook back up.

A VERY good idea to flood each connection with dielectric grease.
