Cranks but will not turn over.

I have a 98 zx6r that will not start. Replaced the junction box, coil packs and wires. Pick up and ignitor getting proper power and its still not getting any spark to create combustion. Really frustrating because the plugs arent bad or foul either. Its also getting fuel, as i can smell it in the exhaust when it cranks. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Is the pick up sensing the rotation of the crank? Is there a procedure in the shop manual for your bike for checking that?

No cranking is not the same as turning over. An engine will rotate the crank without completely starting with combustion.
