Oil Pan install help!

Hey guys,

Something put a hole through my oil pan (third pic) so I'm just installing the new one, however I'm not quite sure if the oil screen is supposed to be screwed on with a bolt where that black hole is (first picture) or just sit (as in 2nd pic). I don't see a bolt and if I try to just put it on it doesn't feel secure enough. I checked the diagrams and can't seem to really see a bolt so just want to confirm if anyone has had experience with the install and knows. Also, I was able to remove it without taking the exhaust off but would I have to take it off to put it back on? Thanks!

No bolt- it is friction fit of that seal and then the pan itself holds it up there.......... those bosses with the machined top inside the pan.......

woohoo we are having fun now
Stupid people say stupid things on the internet, so be wary of who those people are. If you solicit advice on the internet, just keep in mind 99% of what you'll receive is not based on fact or science-and likely atleast 95% of it is based on bullshit and bravado regurgitated from some other schlub who also did not experience any of what they claim and are also full of shit. If you don't like my bluntness- too bad. I am not here to please you, so move along, your approval is not desired nor is it needed. So before opening your pie hole and adding more stupidity, perhaps sit back, listen, absorb and learn something. You know that saying, it is better to remain silent and thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt!
