Stock Quick Shifter with PCV?

hi guys, in bit of a dilemma here. I was thinking of getting a PCV unit for the '19 zx6r, I was wondering if the stock quick shifter module will work with the PCV or do I have to get the quick shifter sensor from dynojet? would bazazz work the same way?.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Short answer is Yes. The stock quick shifter will work with the PCV.

Long answer is still yes. The PCV quick shifter is an add on and requires an additional ignition module. The 2019 ZX6 PCV does not have any control over your ignition without the additional module. Adding a PCV will be a stand alone fuel control only and will not interfere with killing the ignition between shifts.

I don't think so. Can't find any literature on it but I'm 99% sure that's a push only sensor. Flipping the linkage to go to GP shift will orient the sensor in such a way that it will be pulled when upshifting. Won't register a kill when upshifting. But it will kill when pushed which will now be downshifting.

The PCV doesn't require the ignition module for QS function. The PCV standalone unitIt cuts off fuel instead of ignition for shifting.

Power Commander Quick Shifter

From STG https://www.sportbiketrackgear.com/d...r-commander-v/

The Quick Shifter is one of our most recommended mods for a track bike. This allows you to keep the throttle pinned and just step on the shift pedal to get to the next gear. Additional parts are required to enable this feature and there are options to choose from.

To add the Quick Shifter with fuel mapping: we recommend installing the Power Commander V and Quick Shift Sensor (with appropriate shift rods). No other modules are required to enable Quick Shift.

To add the Quick Shifter (cutting ignition instead of fuel) and Pit Lane Limiter: we recommend installing the Power Commander V, Ignition Module and Quick Shift Sensor (with appropriate shift rods). This will enable quick shifter and allow for more tuning options with control over ignition. With this option the ignition is cut to enable the quick shifter instead of the fuel.

Woodcraft rearsets in GP allow you to do that using the stock sensor

(Woodcraft This kit is designed to use the OEM quickshifter in GP shift pattern.)
