2013+ ZX6R Cassette Style Transmission Gear swap

I want to make a few changes to my hearing inside the cassette style transmission, yet I've only found one place that sells a full kit - sild as a Close Ratio Kit. I'm mainly looking for a taller 6th gear, for many reasons. Like for starters, going down the highway at 75mph, my engine is turning at like, what? 7krpm? 7,500rpm? I run a -1/+2 = 15t/45t. I also want to keep my top end, which was 176mlh indicated in stock sprockets& now it's 167mph. Like to be in the 180-190mph range if not 190-205 range. And yes, my bike will eclipse the 200 mark with the power in putting down.

139rwhp
58ft lbs tq
397lbs wet

Thanks!

So, you want a close ratio box but 6th to be spaced wider so that it acts like an overdrive?

I dont think you will get that from a Kit gearbox as they are all race orientated.

If you're making that much power, 1st gear is wasted on you. Go back to OEM gearing on the final drive, or drop a tooth on the back to go even longer.

139 RWHP and 59 ft/lbs of TQ..........lol

Must be one of those special dyno jet adjusted (with fake inflated values) dynos............

until you run it on a real dyno and can produce a real dyno sheet, I find your numbers highly suspect and doubt you make anywhere near that, NOR will your bike do 200mph- ever!

You may be able to lie and pass this bullshit off to the idiots at the local Starbucks, but don't come in here with your weak sauce of bullshit trying to sell us your fake claims

I would love to see this hp/tq graph with the date time and dyno owners names on the sheet

OMG 899 posts and this is the first you hit my radar as another full of shit asshole.............. How did I miss this for so long--- I need to start upping my game again

woohoo we are having fun now
Stupid people say stupid things on the internet, so be wary of who those people are. If you solicit advice on the internet, just keep in mind 99% of what you'll receive is not based on fact or science-and likely atleast 95% of it is based on bullshit and bravado regurgitated from some other schlub who also did not experience any of what they claim and are also full of shit. If you don't like my bluntness- too bad. I am not here to please you, so move along, your approval is not desired nor is it needed. So before opening your pie hole and adding more stupidity, perhaps sit back, listen, absorb and learn something. You know that saying, it is better to remain silent and thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt!

I know several times he has asked about engine work from hg, cams, porting, and other stuff. I assumed he finally did the work or had engine work done. I donít doubt the numbers if he had the engine work done and on non pump gas.

I know 139 whp with stock fairings wonít do 200mph. My ZX10 or GSXR1000R would have a hard time getting to 200. I think most people donĒt understand it takes a lot more hp to go from 190-200 than it does to go from 180-190.

Anyway I donít have the answer about the transmisssion. I do think the suggestion of -1 on the rear is a great place to start.

2011 Ebony ZX10R-----fast
2013 Kawi Green ZX6R---nimble
2017 GSXR1000R---it's like having both bikes above in 1
