2013+ Air Duct access?

Hi all,

I have been following Mr Kawasaki's build and something has been making me wonder.

The 2013+ airduct, is there a way to access it without taking off most of the bikes fairings?

Want to remove some of the sound deadening.

Most of the foam is inside the air box. The duct itself has none.

True that most of the foam is in the airbox, there is still some in the airduct between the front cowl and frame. There is also a tube as well that is in the way.

....you said you wanted to remove 'some' of the foam.....all, you'll need to take it apart more than you seem to want to.

Why you would want to, hasn't been discussed. More noise?

Mainly for min maxing. plus I wanted to remove small bug debris that had gotten past the grill, but not to the airbox. I was already having the tank off and just wondered if it was possible to do without removing majority of the fairings.

It is possible to do AirDuct though the airbox although a tight squeeze around the steering head.
