From the G to the J model, the differences are only cosmetic (twin headlight being one of them).

Assume you don't already own that twin headlight fairing, or you could just offer it up to see how it fits / mounting holes etc?

Another consideration, on the Twin headlight unit, did each individual headlight have a different function - ie: One stayed on dipped beam, while the other could act as a flasher/main beam too?

Will require some additional wiring, adding to your existing (single) headlight wiring anyway, so you could wire them up however you choose (for function). :)

Lovely bike, plus like the Red/Black colour combination. ;)

If you want to do the conversion you're going to need a few extra parts along with the fairing and lights. You're going to have get a new fairing stay to support the assembly (recommend the ZZR 600 one), you might need to replace the instrument cluster with a J model one or custom mount the G cluster as they're completely different setups, and like was said before you'll have to splice in a new plug for the extra light. The J ran H4's so it should be easy to setup, but I've had my fair share of wiring issues lol.

I'm sure the ram air ducts line up the same with both models and it looks like the front fairing should line up with the side fairings. Would look great on your bike
